About The Role:
Position will support CBRE Affordable Housing investment banking engagements. CBRE's Affordable Housing division is the premier national provider of real estate advisory services to owners and stakeholders in the affordable housing market. Our client services include investment sales, debt and structured finance and investment banking. Affordable investment banking services are provided in collaboration with CBRE’s global Investment banking team. CBRE's Affordable Housing division is the only fully integrated Capital Markets group for multifamily affordable housing that includes investment sales, debt & structured finance, and investment banking within one specialty practice.
What You'll Do:
+ Under a MD or SMD, leads a deal team, including associates and analysts in a hands-on manner. May coordinate activities and review work product of support staff.
+ Leads the execution of investment banking transactions including client-facing responsibilities with, and ability to effectively respond to, critical issues or complex inquiries.
+ Prepare/review client-facing materials including investment memoranda and pitch materials.
+ Supports MD/SMD in leading /developing client relationships and new business pursuits.
+ Review financial models used to evaluate financial structures for investment banking transactions.
+ Conduct more complex underwriting duties to support affordable housing investment banking.
+ Prepare analysis of real estate and come to a value conclusion to support that entity value.

+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Finance or related field or MBA and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.
+ Willingness to obtain Series 79 and 63 Securities Licenses if required, based on job responsibilities
+ Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of business documents. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches, and articles in a pre-designed style and format. Ability to effectively respond to complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
+ Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

_CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Investment Banking VP position is $146,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Investment Banking VP position is $271,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
