Do you want to work on planetary scale creating and maintaining customer-focused security related content for technical and non-technical audiences? Are you skilled at collaborating with service and operational teams to optimize and maintain both internal and external facing user guides, process guides and application configuration documentation? As a member of the AWS Security Incident Response service team, you will Work directly with development teams and stakeholders [cross-functional engineering disciplines; incident response and compliance to produce world-class content.. The Global Services Security (GSS) team, part of Amazon Web Services, leverages the expertise and ingenuity of our builders to establish scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. Our goal of securing the world’s workloads and building a brighter future for humanity requires us to focus on reliable delivery of bar raising security outcomes and investment in security mechanisms and automation on behalf of our customers. Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with service and operational team to optimize and maintain both internal and external-facing user guides, process guides, and application configuration documentation while maintaining a high bar for quality.
• Triage user feedback and take action to prioritize feedback.
• Create and maintain integrated help content and training on the Amazon training service consoles.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize and develop content that aids in user adoption of supported services. This can include user documentation, graphics, training material, or interactive storyboards.
• Create, maintain, and edit content for a global and technically diverse audience.
• Manage all aspects of the documentation process: planning, testing, maintaining, and delivery.
• Use metrics to identify underperforming content and develop plans for improvement.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English or related field, or have 5+ years equivalent industry or military experience.
• 5+ years as a technical editor or writer of technical documentation.
• 5+ years of delivering content publication plans or managing multiple projects.
• 3+ years using XML for web content.
• 3+ years using e-learning content management tool(s).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working on technical content for developers, DevOps professionals, and end users.
• Experience working with technical customer service organizations.
• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software and Product Development Process.
• Experience with writing and publishing technical whitepapers.
