Description
With the rise of Generative AI and LLMs, customer expectations for deeply personalized experiences have increased. To meet this challenge, we're seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to spearhead our mission to deliver rich personalized experiences across Amazon subsidiary websites and email. In this role, you will lead the program management of implementation, experimentation, and deployment of the next generation of Recommendation and Personalization technologies across Amazon's websites and enterprise businesses including Amazon, IMDb, Zappos, ShopBop, AbeBooks, etc. We focus on recommending the right product to the customer at the right time using the latest machine learning techniques and leveraging the latest advancements in AI.
Key job responsibilities
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Amazon's subsidiaries and enterprise business units to ensure seamless integration and experimentation with personalization features.
2. Drive the implementation of advanced AI techniques to uncover latent signals from a large corpus of customer data, accurately predicting preferences and future customer intent.
3. Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of the personalization services on customer experience and business outcomes.
4. Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI, ML, and data analytics, incorporating these technologies into the services.
5. Collaborate with product managers and business leaders across subsidiary spaces to align the services' roadmap, supported by crisp documents and leadership-ready communications.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
