Now Hiring: Full-Time Security Flex Officer – Omaha, NE

Allied Universal is seeking **Security Flex Officers** to support various client sites across the Omaha area. This full-time role is ideal for experienced professionals with open availability and a commitment to providing dependable security coverage.

Position Details:

+ **Pay Rate:** $20.00 per hour

+ **Employment Type:** Full-Time

+ **Schedule:** Flexible – must be available for **Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Overnight Shifts** , including **weekends**

Role Overview:

Flex Officers play a key role in maintaining site security by covering open shifts, call-offs, or special assignments. Officers must be ready to adapt to new environments and follow site-specific instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Control access and monitor facility entrances

+ Conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents

+ Operate alarm panels and monitor surveillance as needed

+ Complete reports and maintain detailed shift documentation

+ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presence

Requirements:

+ **Minimum 1 year of prior security experience**

+ Must be able to work any shift, any day of the week

+ Strong communication and observation skills

+ Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Badge and access control system experience

+ Alarm monitoring experience

+ Ability to work independently and handle changing assignments

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

+ Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

+ Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ Driving Positions: must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.

+ As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

+ Required to work for multiple clients at multiple locations; covering special projects, call offs, vacations and open shifts

+ Must be available to work any time and day

+ Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

+ Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

+ Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

+ Able to:

+ Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

+ Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

+ Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

+ Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
