Job Description

The Facility Coordinator II is responsible for general maintenance and equipment repair at an advanced level for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network to include multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers and other sites as the need arises.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Provides building maintenance and repair to include:

+ HVAC system monitoring and repair;

+ Plumbing maintenance and drain repair;

+ Electrical and lighting system repair;

+ Furniture and office equipment repair;

+ Wall cover repair including painting, texturing, etc.

+ Coordinates and schedules contractors' services when scope of work requires outside services.

+ Performs project coordination and supervision when tenant improvement projects are undertaken.

+ Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.

+ Provides minor janitorial support as needed for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.

+ Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events.

+ Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma/GED required. Associate degree/college diploma preferred.

Experience:

Five (5) years progressive journeyman level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair. Knowledge and possession of hand and/or power tools needed to perform routine maintenance operations required.
