The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Senior SAP Technical Lead** to join the team in either **Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Seattle, WA; Tukwila, WA; Plano, TX; Hazelwood, MO; or Ridley Park, PA.**
This role is a deep senior SAP BASIS Technical Lead position that will help maintain/manage and build/refresh large SAP Landscapes to provide a robust, scalable, and secure SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform to support the ERP Bedrock Digital Transformation roadmap delivery on Azure. A successful candidate will need to show excellent technical leadership skills as this focuses on partnering with other technical leads, program managers, and architects to provide modernized ERP platform services on time.
This role demands individuals with skills of great passion, leadership, critical thinking, collaboration, and communication. This candidate will have the ability to drive transformation and help the team resolve complex problems and challenges. This will be an on-going operational support position that will be supporting multiple ERP program platforms.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Manages and monitors SAP applications Landscape hosted on Azure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades of SAP applications and databases using SAP toolset Landscape Management (LaMa)
+ Plans and executes system upgrades and migrations aligning to SAP Architecture best practices and standards, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
+ Leverages innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation design patterns to simplify and optimize SAP Technology Stack and Landscape improving productivity and time to value benefits
+ Performs Transport/Release Management, Security Provisioning, and compliance with Information Technology (IT) established levels of service and support on all SAP systems to corporate users to ensure minimal system downtime
+ Implements and maintains security measures for SAP systems, including user access controls and compliance with organizational security policies and compliance
+ Develops and manages backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability and aligning to targeted Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) levels
+ Completes solution implementation for SAP workloads on Azure
+ Learns quickly and keeps pace with rapid changes in the cloud space, including the introduction and deployment of new cloud platforms and tools
+ Works closely with other Basis team members, platform (e.g. windows, linux), Database Administrator (DBA), and security team members to optimize performance and troubleshoot problems
+ Utilizes performance monitoring tools to work with application developers to identify and correct inefficient data base operations
+ Resolves and analyzes SAP problems
+ Documents and implements solutions or workarounds
+ Recommends and initiates change requests as needed to support business rule changes and enhance system functionality
+ Responsibilities include supporting the SAP team during system testing, interactions with functional business analysts to define and clarify system specifications
+ Responses during escalations and takes proactive steps to avoid escalations
+ Identifies and drives initiatives to improve the operation and stability for our customers systems
+ Drives initiatives to standardize and simplify server operations
+ Oversees and performs comprehensive compute performance assessments for SAP systems running on the Hyperscalers platform utilizing various performance tools
+ Benchmarks for a new Information Technology (IT) stack to find performance issue before signing off for production implementation using data-driven approaches
+ Develops and implements performance optimization strategies for SAP applications, HANA Database (DB), and Azure infrastructure
+ Collaborates with Enterprise Cloud Service (ECS) Service Engineering, Client Delivery Management, Azure based SAP Operations, HANA developers, and Customer to optimize system configurations, parameters, and resource allocations to maximize performance and scalability
+ Brings in continuous improvements to health checks, sizing and capacity, and root cause analysis to improve customer satisfaction and SAP service delivery
+ Operates services for the customer and service on-demand with timely alert reduction program to all the stakeholders involving the customer
+ Partners with the architecture team and provides needed inputs that aids in design and enhancements to maintain our SAP landscape
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
+ 10+ years of experience with SAP
+ Experience using LINUX/UNIX operating systems
+ Experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
+ Experience in Financial Operations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
+ SAP HANA certified
+ SAP Migration certified
+ Cloud infrastructure technology certification
+ Experience with configuring, administrating, and supporting SAP systems inclusive of the data dictionary, reference models, ABAP/4 Development Workbench and customizing components
+ Experience with SAP NetWeaver platform functionality for integrating business processes across various systems, databases and sources
+ Experience with solution implementation for SAP workloads on Azure
+ Experience with support on all SAP systems to corporate users to ensure minimal system downtime
+ Experience with supporting the SAP team during system testing

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $123,250 - $178,250
