    As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

     

    As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a leading tech environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.     Pay Rate: $25.95 / Hour

    Mon03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

     

    Tue03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

     

    Wed03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

     

    Thur03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity in a technology-focused location.

    + Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols.

    + Assist with access control and monitor entry points as required by site policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.

    + A guard card or license is preferred.

    + CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

    + California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
