Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage inventory levels and ensure operational efficiency within our organization. This contract position is based in Alameda, California, and offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team by maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth workflows. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper documentation.

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with various departments to optimize inventory control processes.

• Maintain detailed records related to inventory tracking and audits.

• Operate material handling equipment to facilitate inventory management.

• Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.

• Support annual physical inventory efforts and assist with work order management.

• Identify opportunities to improve inventory workflows and recommend solutions. Requirements • Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and procedures.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Basic proficiency in math and organizational skills.

• Experience with material handling equipment is preferred.

• Previous experience conducting physical inventory audits is a plus.
