Description We are looking for organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialists to join our team on a contract basis in Alameda, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute to a key project and collaborate with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inventory counts to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.

• Maintain detailed documentation of inventory movements and adjustments.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline inventory processes and meet project deadlines.

• Operate material handling equipment to move and organize products as needed.

• Monitor inventory tracking systems to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.

• Assist in annual physical inventory procedures and audits.

• Communicate findings and issues to supervisors for prompt resolution.

• Follow established procedures to ensure compliance with inventory control standards.

• Support the team in organizing and labeling inventory to enhance accessibility. Requirements • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic math skills and proficiency in organizing records.

• Experience with inventory tracking systems or warehouse operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with operating material handling equipment is a plus.

• Willingness to work on a contract basis.

• Previous experience in inventory control or related fields is advantageous.
