    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a knack for accurate data processing.     Responsibilities:

    • Accurately input financial data from paper documents into the company's system.

    • Verify the accuracy of entered data to ensure it aligns with source documents.

    • Utilize 10-key typing skills to efficiently process numerical information.

    • Handle email correspondence related to data entry tasks and client inquiries.

    • Organize and maintain digital and physical files for streamlined data accessibility.

    • Perform basic calculations to validate financial information.

    • Use Microsoft Excel for data organization, tracking, and reporting.

    • Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word as needed.

    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of data entry projects. Requirements • Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.

    • Previous experience in data entry, preferably with financial information.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and documentation.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.

    • Excellent organizational skills to manage files and records effectively.

    • Ability to perform basic calculations with accuracy.

    • Strong written communication skills for email correspondence.
