    Attention Respiratory Students! The Danbury Hospital is seeking a part time respiratory equipment aide. You will gain experience and knowledge in the respiratory field. Flexible 4 hour schedule to accommadate schooling.

    Summary:

    Responsible for respiratory equipment management, storage room cleanliness and PAR stock management to assure access for use by Respiratory Therapy staff.

    Responsibilities:

    1.Responsible for Equipment set up including ventilators, non-invasive devices, heated high flows.

    2.Complete safety checks on devices upon set up.

    3.Assure Joint Commission and DPH requirements met regarding covering all equipment as ready for use.

    4.Manage equipment storage areas and report PAR levels of special order equipment to Clinical Supervisor/Manager.

    5.Deliver equipment to patient care areas as needed and upon request by Respiratory Staff.

    6. Assure active communication with charge therapist to meet the needs of the shift.

    7.Other responsibilities as requested by Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Educator/Manager.
