    CNC MACHINISTS – (MILLING)

     

    Needed ASAP for aerospace company in Portland CT. (2 shifts available)

     

    + **Full time, on site, M-F: 2 shifts available: 7am - 330pm AND 4pm - 12:30 am (There is an additional "shift differential" of up to 15% paid for working on the 2nd shift.)**

    + **Weekly Hours: 40-45 hours per week**

     

    Step into a key role in aerospace manufacturing where precision and performance matter. We're seeking experienced CNC Machinists to produce high-tolerance, mission-critical components.

    What You'll Do:

    + Operate CNC and other machines to deliver high-quality, tight-tolerance aerospace parts

    + Read blueprints, work orders, and GD&T to plan and execute accurate machining

    + Use precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify exact dimensions

    + Maintain equipment, quality standards, and detailed production records

    What You Bring:

    + 3+ years CNC machining experience (aerospace preferred)

    + Strong grasp of GD&T and shop math (fractions, ratios, tolerances)

    + Measuring Equipment: Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, and size blocks.

    + Attention to Detail: Must be accurate, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious.

    + Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

    + Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve processes for enhanced productivity and quality.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    + Salary: $24 -$31+ per hour, based on experience. There is an additional "shift differential" of up to 15% paid for working on the 2nd shift.
