Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is recruiting for a **Pharmacy Technician – Data Intake** role with a **nationwide long-term care pharmacy** at their **San Diego** location. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented pharmacy technician to join a team that supports long-term care facilities and ensures patients receive timely, accurate medication services.

• Job Responsibilities

+ Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing

+ Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately and promptly

+ Ensure proper notes in the system and apply correct cycle fill coding

+ Calculate and/or verify correct dosages based on prescriptions

+ Provide courteous and professional responses to customer calls and route them appropriately

+ Complete all assigned prescription processing within the regular shift

+ Manage refills by evaluating, processing, and following up with prescribers as needed

+ Develop proficiency in pharmacy systems (e.g., document imaging, legacy systems)

+ Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, profiling, and dispensing as needed

+ Maintain data entry records for cycle medications and process renewal and new cycle orders

• Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required

+ **Must possess a valid CA Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration** as per state requirements; **PTCB preferred**

+ At least **1 year of related experience**

+ Advanced computer skills; experience with pharmacy systems preferred

+ Strong Data Entry skills-Type 50 WPM

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

+ Must possess excellent communication skills and a customer service attitude

• Compensation

• The anticipated wage for this position is between **$24 and $25**

_Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors._

• Schedule

+ **Training Schedule** : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

+ **Post-Training Schedule** : Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, with **rotating weekends**

**Pay Details:** $24.00 to $25.00 per hour
