Adecco is assisting a local client in Penn Valley, CA in their search for a _Medical Billing Administrative Assistant_ . This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records within a healthcare setting, specifically managing billing processes for Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursement. The successful candidate will ensure accurate and timely claim submissions, follow-up on outstanding payments, and aid with billing inquiries.
Key Responsibilities for the _Medical Billing Administrative Assistant_ :
+ Process and submit Medicare and Medi-Cal claims for reimbursement.
+ Follow up on claim denials, partial payments, and overdue accounts, focusing on Medicare and Medi-Cal.
+ Maintain accurate billing information and records.
+ Assist with understanding bills and navigating Medicare/Medi-Cal billing processes.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant Medicare and Medi-Cal regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications marked for consideration of the _Medical Billing Administrative Assistant_ :
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; medical billing certificate or associate degree preferred.
+ Proven experience in medical billing, with specific knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal reimbursement processes.
+ Familiarity with medical coding systems (CPT and ICD-10) is essential.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in medical billing software and general office software.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 an hour – Part Time position to start

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
