Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Team Leadership & Strategic Planning:** Lead full-time and consulting engineering teams (onshore/offshore), providing mentorship, onboarding support, and performance management while driving strategic direction for integration platforms and API architecture.

+ **Integration & API Expertise:** Bring 8+ years of hands-on experience in integration and API development, with deep knowledge of REST/SOAP, event-driven architectures, API design (OpenAPI), security (OAuth 2.0, API Keys), and platforms like Apigee, Kong, or Mulesoft.

+ **Cloud & Modern Architecture:** Leverage 3+ years working with AWS, Azure, or GCP, applying cloud-native integration patterns and technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.

+ **Software Development & Delivery:** Oversee the full SDLC, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable APIs using Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

+ **Stakeholder & Partner Collaboration:** Communicate project goals, risks, and outcomes effectively across cross-functional teams and manage relationships with business stakeholders and consulting partners.

+ **Continuous Improvement & Innovation:** Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning while staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices to improve API performance, security, and scalability.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

+ Experience in the telecommunications industry

+ 6+ years experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

+ 6+ years experience with performance testing and optimization of APIs and integration flows

Skills and Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with specific integration platforms relevant to the wireless domain (e.g., billing system integrations, network management system integrations)

+ Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques

+ Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and their application for automation within software development or data integration

+ Familiarity with the CAMARA (Common API Management platform for operator APIs) standard and the principles of open network APIs

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
