Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a dedicated and diligent individual to join our team as an ENV Services Aide 1. This full-time, regular position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As an ENV Services Aide 1, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our healthcare facility. Your duties will include cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas, disposing of waste and hazardous materials according to established protocols, and restocking supplies as needed. You will also be expected to operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuums, and perform minor maintenance tasks. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to follow infection control and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of illness. You will work closely with other environmental services staff, nursing, and administrative personnel to coordinate efforts and maintain a seamless operation. The role requires flexibility, as you may be called upon to perform additional duties or adjust your schedule to meet the needs of the facility. This position does not offer a per diem and is compensated annually. Required Skills

+ Demonstrated ability to follow complex instructions and protocols.

+ Experience in handling and disposing of waste and hazardous materials safely.

+ Prior experience in performing minor maintenance tasks is a plus.

+ Evidence of ongoing training or certification in environmental services or related fields.
