Jennie Stuart Health is seeking a dedicated and diligent individual to join our team as an ENV Services Aide 1. This full-time, regular position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. As an ENV Services Aide 1, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the healthcare facility. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas. You will operate cleaning equipment, manage waste disposal, and adhere to infection control protocols. Additionally, you will be expected to restock supplies, perform floor care, and assist in setting up rooms for patient admissions or procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, the ability to follow complex instructions, and a commitment to providing a high level of service. You will work closely with other members of the environmental services team and report to the Environmental Services Supervisor. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as you may be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the facility. The position does not offer per diem and is considered 'At-Will,' meaning employment can be terminated by either party at any time. Salary is provided on an annual basis and will be commensurate with experience. Required Skills

Required Experience

+ Previous experience in a cleaning or environmental services role, preferably in a healthcare setting

+ Familiarity with the use of cleaning chemicals and their safety guidelines

+ Experience in waste disposal and understanding of related regulations

+ Proven track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

+ Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

+ Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy policies

+ History of reliable attendance and punctuality

+ Experience in floor care and room setup procedures is a plus

+ Prior experience working in a team-oriented workplace

+ A history of compliance with health and safety regulations
