The primary role of the Blend Master is to measure, transport, and blend base and emulsion ingredients within formula specifications to support production requirements. They control blending, thermal processing, ingredient, and CIP systems. Prepare tanks and other equipment to receive ingredients. Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, and Cost objectives. Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under The Coca-Cola Company Quality System.
What You'll Do for Us
+ Blend ingredients to formula quality standards
+ Batch product to support production and complete all batch documentation
+ Mathematically calculate batch corrections
+ Keep accurate records as required to protect products, ingredients, processes and information
+ Monitor and control thermal and homogenized processing
+ Perform CIP on all blending equipment and complete all CIP documentation
+ Stage ingredients, inspect incoming ingredients and keep accurate ingredient usage reports
+ Maintain equipment and area cleanliness to ensure compliance with all GMP/AIB standards
+ Work directly with maintenance personnel, line personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies
+ Perform sensory evaluations and analytical testing to ensure proper quality
+ Perform operator maintenance on blending equipment; troubleshoot and notify maintenance of equipment repairs
+ Comply with all standard safety practices, safety rules and company rules and policies
+ Audit and monitor programs and processes, and complete corrective actions as required.
+ Ensure that all security procedures are followed
Job Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ One-year of blending or processing experience, and two years of food manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Read, write, speak and understand instructions given in English.
+ Mobility to all areas of the facility including working at heights of up to 30 feet. Ability to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds distances of 10 feet or more. Work involves exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, dust, moving equipment, vibrations and vapors.
+ Experience operating powered industrial vehicles. Able to achieve Coca-Cola forklift certification.
+ Experience with maintenance and operation of the following blending equipment: pumps, valves, hoses, hoists, mix tanks, pneumatics, heat exchangers, chillers, choppers, temperature gauges, pressure gauges, level controls.
+ Ability to smell, taste and see to perform sensory evaluations.
+ Ability to work 8 hours, 12 hours, or other work schedules as determined by business need, including overtime as required. Ability to work nights and weekends on a rotating shift (3-2-2-3 schedule)
+ Ability to use a computer and associated software programs.
+ Must be certified on the training plan for this position within six months of start date.

Pay Range:$60,200 - $74,100
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
