    If this description speaks to you, continue reading about the opportunity of Food Service Utility Worker. This is a full time, 40 hours per week position located at St. John's Meadows.

     

    Position Summary: Under general supervision, is responsible for the washing and sanitizing of dishes, silverware, utensils, pots and pans used by the kitchen in service of residents and personnel.

    Qualifications:

    + Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

    + Experience preferred, but not necessary.

    + Ability to remain flexible and ready to assume other responsibilities assigned.

    + Applicant must have an interest in improving skills.

    + Must have a working knowledge of dishwashing machine and procedures used to wash dishes in a large kitchen.

    + Applicant must be willing to perform manual work cooperatively with others.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Requires standing for long periods, walking and heavy lifting.

    Exposure to Conditions:

    + May walk on wet surfaces. Will work with cleaning chemicals and hot water.
