Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, cycle counting, filling orders, and loading/unloading trucks. This role does not require forklift operation.

Responsibilities

+ Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts regularly.

+ Fill orders with precision and ensure timely loading and unloading of trucks.

+ Utilize UPS WorldShip for effective shipping operations.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in shipping and receiving for at least 3 years.

+ Strong skills in inventory control and management.

+ Proficiency with UPS WorldShip software.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in inventory management is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role offers flexible scheduling options: First shift can start between 5am-7:30am, working either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with advance schedule communication required. Second shift operates from 3pm-1:30am, Monday through Thursday. Overtime can be mandatory, with typical work weeks around 50 hours. Steel-toed footwear is mandatory as part of the dress code.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
