Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Lead
Job Description
This position involves warehouse inventory management, hands-on receiving, storage, shipping, pallet preparation, and managing all shipping and receiving paperwork for incoming and outgoing products. The role requires interaction with customers, service providers, and suppliers to promote efficient operations.
Responsibilities
+ Complete daily warehouse organization entries, receiving entries, and shipping entries in the computer system.
+ Manage offsite inventory at a third-party warehouse/fulfillment center in collaboration with the operations director and managers to ensure accurate cycle counts.
+ Oversee raw material and critical supply inventories, including maintenance, cleaning, organization, and cycle counting. Conduct physical counts of raw materials and manage tag controls.
+ Handle all outbound shipments, including preparation of shipping paperwork, management of packaging materials, packaging of products, and arrangement of transportation services.
+ Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory areas, including hands-on cleaning and maintenance.
+ Distribute documentation, including transfer of original documents to the accounting office and operations, and maintain daily shipping and receiving logs for the QA department.
+ Coordinate with QA, production departments, and outside vendors using organizational and interpersonal skills. Participate actively in QA retention procedures in cooperation with the QA manager.
+ Participate in weekly meetings with the management team.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma.
+ Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
+ At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with pallets and forklifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency with RF scanners and order picking.
+ Experience in material handling.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
