Job Title: Facilities Technician
Job Description
Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician operates and performs routine troubleshooting and repair of all packaging equipment and systems. The role involves conducting packaging line changeovers and mechanical set-up of all packaging equipment in accordance with the packaging schedule.
Responsibilities
+ Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures as well as state, federal, and local laws.
+ Perform routine troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and processing equipment, and mechanical control systems.
+ Execute packaging line set-ups and changeovers.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Experience in machine set up and packaging line operations.
+ Ability to perform maintenance repairs and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Legible handwriting and accurate documentation skills.
+ Ability to count accurately and perform basic math operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Organized and capable of following instructions, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
+ Mechanically oriented with an understanding of the function and operation of common tools and PLCs.
+ Familiarity with equipment systems utilizing multiple utilities such as compressed air, electrical supply, vacuum, steam, chilled water, etc.
+ Basic computer skills including data entry.
+ Associate degree or High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Environment
Work in a sterile cleanroom environment with air conditioning. The facility operates on three shifts: Day Blocks A (Sunday-Thursday) and Day Block B (Tuesday-Saturday), including a third shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Initial GMP training is conducted during the first shift (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM) for the first week, transitioning to training on their assigned shift on the production floor by Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MIRAMAR, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
