    Job Title: Construction Estimator

    Job Description

    Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects ranging from $5,000 to $1 million, with occasional involvement in larger projects up to $45 million. Analyze sketches, blueprints, and specifications to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Submit competitive bids and proposals in a timely manner. Utilize Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and communication. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and budget. Communicate with customers as needed to clarify project details and expectations. Maintain organized records of estimates and bid submissions.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.

    + Analyze sketches, blueprints, and specifications to prepare estimates.

    + Submit competitive bids and proposals promptly.

    + Utilize Microsoft Office programs for documentation and communication.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project scope and budget alignment.

    + Communicate with customers to clarify project details and expectations.

    + Maintain organized records of estimates and bid submissions.

    Essential Skills

    + 5–10 years of experience in the construction industry.

    + Proficiency in estimation, project management, and construction management.

    + Strong knowledge of pole barns and commercial-grade buildings.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in Ag is a plus.

    + Must be located within a 1-hour drive of Saint James.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
