    Job Title: Machine Operator-Libre

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator who is comfortable standing for 12 hours and working a rotating shift from 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM. The role requires familiarity with computers and an ability to operate machines efficiently across various departments. Candidates will work in a clean room environment requiring personal protective equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble electronic hardware, ensuring the device delivers accurate data to patients.

    + Operate in the SMT department, wearing booties and using static electricity removers to protect sensitive boards.

    + Monitor screens to change reels in the product, requiring computer proficiency.

    + Switch between SMT and Puck departments as needed, maintaining strong communication skills.

    + Assemble PCBA into a sealed, water-resistant puck, conducting necessary tests.

    + In the Applicator department, assemble the puck into an adhesive spring delivery system for patient use.

    + Work in Container & Sterilization to assemble electromechanical sensors into sterile barrier systems.

    + Handle sterilization processes, including placing parts into trays for robotic kit packing.

    + Participate in Kit-Pack labeling and packaging, ensuring accuracy of labels in the correct language.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-4 years of recent Machine Operator experience.

    + High volume assembly experience.

    + Proficiency in machine operation, general production, and inspection.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong communication skills.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a cleanroom environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The company operates in an injection molding facility for medical and retail parts, offering a clean room production environment. The temperature-controlled warehouse requires adherence to GMP procedures and appropriate attire, including steel toe shoes. Experience a fast-paced warehouse production setting with 12-hour rotating shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.80/hr.
