Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced **Electronic Laboratory Technician** to join our Minuteman Sustainment team for an exciting opportunity to support the readiness and sustainment of the US Air Force Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) program.
This position focuses on sustainment of ICBM infrastructure and equipment, highlighting areas of maintenance tasks, technical writing, strategy development, cross-team integration, and supply chain management. This is an exciting opportunity to get into the Defense industry!
The anticipated workload will include operating, maintaining and sustaining electronics equipment within an electronics laboratory. The use of Air Force guidance along with various technical manuals, Civil Engineering manuals,Civil Engineering drawings,illustrated parts listings, and advanced mechanical/electrical specifications. The work will take advantage of the employee s ability to perform operation, validation, servicing, troubleshooting, repair and testing actions on Real Property electronic equipment. Correcting discrepancies and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Training on unique laboratory equipment will be provided.
Possible job responsibilities/skills include the following:
+ Operating electronics laboratory-oversee processes and management of programs
+ Operating automated and benchtop test equipment to include oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters and soldering stations
+ Rewriting, updating, and validating/verifying of Civil Engineering Manuals, Master Change Logs and technical orders
+ Interpret schematics, parts diagrams and circuit card layouts
+ Providing logistics support to include research of parts, supply levels, equipment usage, historical maintenance data and equipment supportability/sustainability
+ Preparing/reviewing proposals, presentationsandtechnical documentation per customer requests

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Minimum 6 years of experience with superior levellogistics services and technical leadership of logistics functions
+ Previous experience with Civil Engineering Manuals, Master Change Logs and technical orders; rewriting, update and validating/verify
+ Experience interpretating schematics, parts diagrams and circuit card layouts
+ Strong attention to detail, reading comprehension, and writing ability
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Knowledge of and/or experience with the Minuteman III ICBM electronics laboratory is highly desired
+ Strong technical aptitude as well as excellent written and verbal communication
+ Ability to prepare professional documentation for reporting to upper management
+ Ability to engage and collaborate in team-oriented environments
+ Ability to execute projects to improve efficiencies, drive out cost, manage change, and mitigate risks
+ Experience with procurement and quality procedures
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Experience with and/or knowledge of database programs and data management/retrieval
+ Experience with supply chain/logistics practices
+ Ability to perform logistics analyst functions
+ Experience developing/reviewing/updating technical/maintenance manuals and standards
+ A minimum of two years college or vocational training focused on science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics (STEM) fields preferred
+ Certifications in general and circuit card soldering
+ Current or recent (less than 2 years) DoD security clearance Secret or higher desired
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
