    Position Overview

    The Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist is responsible for providing onsite first aid and preventative care aimed at improving the health and safety of our employees within OSHA guidelines. This role involves ergonomic assessments, preventative assessments, and educating employees on various health-related topics such as nutrition, proper sleep and rest, strength and conditioning, and recovery.

    Job Duties

    + Providing injury assessment/escalation, first aid, and adhering to OSHA standards for work-related discomforts.

    + Observing tree care operations, coaching on ergonomic work positioning, and developing mobility programs.

    + Creating educational materials, acquiring industry knowledge, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Physical Education, Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, or related fields. An associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will also be considered.

    + Previous experience working in a health, fitness, or wellness capacity within a Sport, Industrial, Military, or Fitness setting.

    + Previous experience working in an inpatient/outpatient setting or any other clinical/performance setting with populations of various ages and fitness

    + First Aid and CPR certified.

    + Valid California Driver’s License.

    + Preferred: Masters/Graduate degree in related field
