    Description and Requirements

    Role Overview

    As a Strategic Offering Development Director in the Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS) group, you will enhance our market resonance and visibility with analysts, advisors and alliance partners. The role requires you to collaborate with leaders across the organization to define the value proposition, messaging, and positioning across key portfolio offerings. This position requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the DWS industry and the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally, at different levels.

    Key Responsibilities

    Collaborate to define value proposition, messaging, and positioning

    + **Value Proposition:** Work cross-functionally to build and promote a clear and compelling narrative for our service offerings

    + **Portfolio Messaging and Positioning:** Build and drive consistent portfolio messaging. Position and evangelize DWS business to externally align with market needs and expectation

    + **Presentation Material:** Create compelling, structured and appealing business presentations for internal and external executive readouts.

    Act as the strategic bridge between the business and the central marketing organization

    + **Facilitating Communication** : Ensuring that there is a seamless flow of information between our organization and the central marketing team, sharing insights, updates, and feedback to align both parties on common goals and strategies.

    + **Aligning Strategies** : Working to ensure that the DWS marketing strategies developed by the central marketing organization are in line with the objectives and needs of the DWS business. This involves understanding the business's goals and translating them into actionable marketing plans that drive consistency across the DWS brand.

    + **Coordinating Efforts** : Act as the business liaison for reach and relevance initiatives to ensure they are effectively executed and meet the desired business outcomes.

    + **Providing Insights** : Offer valuable insights and data from the DWS business to the central marketing team to help them make informed decisions to drive compelling initiatives.

    + **Building Relationships** : Establish and maintain strong relationships between the DWS organization and the central marketing organization to foster collaboration and mutual support.

    Elevate Lenovo’s DWS industry presence and strengthen market position

    **Integrated Campaign Plans** : participate in the development of comprehensive marketing strategies that combine various channels and tactics to promote Lenovo's Digital Workplace Solutions. **Thought Leadership** : Establish Lenovo as a leader in the digital workplace space by sharing insightful and authoritative content. This involves assisting in publishing articles, whitepapers, and research reports that highlight Lenovo's expertise and innovative solutions, as well as participating and presenting in industry discussions, webinars, and podcasts. Requires the ability to create compelling and appealing content for key presentations and drive interactive/demo sessions to highlight Lenovo's DWS capabilities and vision. **Events Strategy** : Be the business focal, working with the events team, to organize and participate in Industry events to build brand awareness, and capture opportunities.

     

    You will be required to establish KPIs to measure success, track progress against goals and report on these to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    + 8+ years of strategy, consulting or marketing experience

    + Strong executive presence & leadership skills

    + High level of communication & presentation skills

    + Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced environment without minimum guidance

    + Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations

    + Understanding of the technology services business and industry

    + Influence without authority

    + Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally

    Preferred Qualifications

    + MBA

    + 5+ years of senior leadership in consulting or GSI business

    + Deep understanding of the Digital Workplace Solutions Industry

    + Business & financial acumen

    + Proven record of building compelling slides and delivering presentations on key industry events

    + Analyst relationship experience
