    AdventHealth Palm Coast is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join and lead our high-performing anesthesia care team. This unique opportunity is ideal for an experienced clinical leader ready to take the next step in their career. The Chief will play a vital dual role—continuing clinical practice while also driving operational excellence, quality improvement, and collaboration between AdventHealth Palm Coast and US Anesthesia Partners (USAP).

     

    This is a W2, full-time position serving three modern, fully equipped facilities all within 5 miles: AdventHealth Palm Coast Hospital, AdventHealth Town Center Surgery, and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway Hospital.

     

    What We’re Offering: $500K base salary + Chief Stipend (commensurate with leadership experience)

     

    $40K Annual Quality Bonus

     

    $50K Signing Bonus

     

    $10K Relocation Reimbursement (for eligible candidates)

    Leadership Responsibilities Include: Overseeing day-to-day anesthesia operations

     

    Championing quality monitoring and improvement initiatives

     

    Driving patient care excellence and resource efficiency

     

    Serving as a key liaison between USAP and AdventHealth leadership

     

    Supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of Anesthesia providers

     

    Practice Highlights: New SHIFT model: 15–16 shifts/month (189 annually)

     

    Optional nocturnist schedule available

     

    Staffing Model: 8 Anesthesiologists & 15 CRNAs

     

    Diverse case mix: General Surgery, Ortho, GI, GYN, Urology, Plastics, IR

     

    Advanced technology: Da Vinci and Mako Robotics

     

    Regional Blocks (interscalene, supraclavicular, femoral, etc.) to support ERAS & opioid-sparing protocols

     

    Call Requirement: Beeper call from home

    Qualifications

    + All USAP Anesthesiologists must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency program.

    + Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology.

    + Anesthesiologist must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.
