You Will Be Responsible For:

+ Ensures the accuracy of all shipping/receiving documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to shipping/receiving activities.

+ Lead and direct the activity of a team performing receiving functions.

+ Off loads, verify, and sign for inbound deliveries.

+ Utilize material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to transport product to shipping locations or delivery platforms and ensuring orders are staged for delivery.

+ Complete pre-shift equipment inspection as required; report any unsafe conditions to management.

+ Assures that shipping/receiving counts match picking/purchase order documents and assists in resolving any discrepancies.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Required:

+ Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various backgrounds

+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment

+ Ability to work and lead team of receivers in a fast-paced environment, budget ones own time and the team, and activities as needed to accomplish the tasks at hand to meet daily deadlines

+ Ability to follow a schedule and instructions

+ General computer skills and ability to work with the latest technology in a paper or paperless environment to perform picking/pulling/staging and cross-docking orders

+ Knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc.

Preferred:

+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

+ Prior experience working in distribution a plus

+ Prior experience working in a production/goal-oriented environment

+ Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification- Reach Truck, Order Picker, Powered Pallet-jack, Forklift

+ Warehouse Certification and Operations Certification

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Lead Receiver is responsible for leading the time in the timely processing of inbound packages with priority given to all overnight and refrigerated deliveries. Oversee the receipt of inbound deliveries and the separation of stock and non-stock products. Ensures that packages are received according to related SOPs, utilize package tracking and scan to the proper staging area before they reach their final destination. Collaborate with department auditors when required to resolve any receiving discrepancies to ensure timely payment to vendor. Responsible for directing the activities of the Receiving Department. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
