A Day in the Life
+ As the Director, Social, Content & A&I for essie, you'll be a key player in bringing the brand's global vision to life through impactful consumer touchpoints. Reporting to the Global Brand Engagement Lead, you'll lead the team responsible for creating engaging content, developing and executing social media and influencer strategies, and managing PR and advocacy programs. This role is based in Jersey City, NJ (initially) with a future relocation to our New York office (timing to be confirmed). You'll be a creative storyteller with a passion for color and a data-driven approach to content marketing.
+ Advocacy & Influencer (A&I) Strategy: Lead the development and execution of global A&I strategies, identifying and cultivating relationships with key influencers (manicurrists, social media personalities, etc.). Manage talent negotiations, briefs, and program execution for both in-person and digital initiatives. Ensure alignment between global and local A&I programs. Provide comprehensive reporting and influencer tracking. Lead global events and manage influencer relations for brand filming.
+ Social Media & Content Strategy: Develop and evolve essie's global social media strategy, leveraging consumer insights and brand equity. Create high-quality, engaging social content that drives trends and fosters strong community engagement. Manage agency partners and lead digital content shoots. Collaborate with local market leads to ensure global program amplification. Stay abreast of digital trends and innovations in the nail category. Manage and create the global Instagram calendar and content.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Marketing, eCommerce, Product Development, and International Business teams to ensure fully integrated programs that support key business objectives.
We Are Looking For
+ We're seeking a highly creative and results-oriented marketing leader with a passion for the beauty industry and a proven track record of success in social media, content creation, and influencer marketing.
+ Digital Marketing Expertise: 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, influencer management, and social media strategy and activation, preferably within the beauty or fashion industries. Proven ability to drive insights and results.
+ Strategic Thinking & Creativity: A big-picture thinker with exceptional storytelling abilities and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. Deep understanding of current trends and the ever-evolving social and influencer landscape.
+ Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with influencers and agency partners.
+ Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, working with vendors, managing budgets, and leading junior team members.
+ Data-Driven Approach: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure campaign performance. Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g., NetBase, Rival IQ, Sprinklr, Traackr) is a plus.
+ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ L'Oréal Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in Leadership, Entrepreneurial Management, Achievement, and Innovation. Strong understanding of the essie brand and the professional beauty industry.

Salary Range: $138,500 – $200,400 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.)
