Title: Assistant Professor, General Education (Human Physiology with Intervention Skill-Based (ISB) Experiential Learning) Position Summary:

The Assistant Professor, Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology is responsible for the development, administration, teaching, and evaluation of learners in one (or more) of the College's general education courses. General Education faculty are expected to teach primarily online didactic courses. This role will advise and mentor students as well as monitor learner performance in accordance with course objectives and published schedules under the Director, General Education

The Salary for this position is 60,000.00 a year

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

+ Attending a faculty orientation session.

+ Teaching and evaluating assigned online courses.

+ Monitoring learner performance in accordance with course objectives and published schedules under the Director, General Education.

+ Assisting learners with study problems and with evaluating their potential for successful achievement in the course or discipline.

+ Maintaining accurate performance records of learners and submitting required reports according to published deadlines.

+ Maintaining expertise in online delivery systems to increase communication between faculty and learners.

+ Attending faculty meetings and other faculty activities as required.

+ Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

+ Master's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning in Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathophysiology or a related discipline.

+ Minimum of 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline being taught.

+ Demonstrated experience in higher education, preferably online education, is highly desirable.

All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for all travel and lodging accommodations.
