    Position Summary

    Responsible for assisting physicians, nurses and office supervisor with clinical duties. Cross training as needed per practice.

    2.Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care

    3.Patient Order

    4.Point of Care

    5.Patient Safety

    6.Attend Staff Meetings

     

    Work Contact Group (Internal/External)

     

    Patients and family members; other healthcare professionals

     

    Reporting Relationships

    Reports to (position):

    Practice Director, Office Manager, Nurse Coordinator, Practice Manager, Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, HMM Operations Manager

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    Required:

    ?High School Diploma or Equivalent

    ?Medical Assistant Certification

    Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):

    License, Registry or Certification:

    Required:

    Medical Assistant Certification required; must have CPR certification or obtain within 6 months

    Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

    Required: Customer service skills required; computer skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills
