+ The role is a part of the Business Partner Operations team within our Cargo & Airport Excellence Team
What you'll do
+ Responsible for relationship management with key third party vendors and suppliers that provide customer facing services
+ Acts as support for overall cabin cleaning quality, product ordering and website compliance
+ Provides strategic and analytical support to existing programs and projects
+ Strives to improve communication skills, time management, and other personal qualities to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties
+ Acts as project manager for various projects related to airports and airport services vendors, including large scale vendor transitions
+ Develops project plans and executive level presentations
+ Maintains, improves and integrates existing scorecards
+ Develops organizational awareness, functional knowledge of various automated systems, and an understanding of working documents and manuals relevant to Cabin Appearance
+ Works directly with stations and business partners to facilitate process improvements and measurable performance improvements
+ Maintains knowledge of current and pending regulations which affect area of responsibility and ensuresCabin Appearance activities maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
+ Performs other duties as required
+ Ability to travel (up to 25%) for periods of 2-5 days away from home base including domestic and International, work independently and work various hours
+ Develop plans for operational and/or product improvements across the portfolio by working with external regional carriers and internal groups like Network Planning, Fleet Planning, Legal, Finance, Marketing & Customer Experience
+ Evaluate new and/or replacement initiatives to optimize American Airline’s regional portfolio
+ Analyze data to make recommendations to improve operational performance for cabin service team members
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
+ 3 years of field experience with either ramp or cabin appearance
+ 3 years of vendor relations experience
+ Advanced experience with Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentation development
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Policy manual writing
+ Master's degree in Business, Economics, Aviation, or Finance or equivalent experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
+ Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent organization abilities
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize projects, meet all deadlines, while balancing workload
+ Ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent projects with minimal supervision
+ Ability to speak to large groups that include both Senior Leadership and Union/Non-Union Workgroups
+ Possess sound strategic business analysis acumen with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing environment
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of in an organization; professional presentation skills
+ Strong analytical skills required
