This role is deeply hands-on and ideal for engineers who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about building physical systems that go to orbit. Engineers will own specific componentssuch as valves, turbopumps, or combustion chambersas Responsible Engineers (REs), taking them from concept through testing and iteration.

    Key Responsibilities

Own propulsion components (e.g., valves, turbopumps, combustion chambers) as the Responsible Engineer.

Design, build, and test hardware across vehicle programs such as Alpha and Eclipse.

Create and iterate on clean-sheet designs of pressurization and propellant systems.

Develop P&IDs, perform fluid system sizing, and select components and instrumentation.

Collaborate with analysts, test teams, and other engineers to solve complex problems.

Diagnose failures, iterate designs, and improve system performance.

Be physically present where the hardware is built and tested (Briggs, Cedar Park).
