Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Cardiac Cath Lab Coordinator you will perform, and demonstrate your professional knowledge to provide care for our patients served in the Cath Lab department. + You will coordinate daily operation of the Cath Lab.

+ You will provide assistance with all cardiac catheterizations, vascular and interventional procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment, as well as professional and departmental standards and protocols.

+ You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the direct and indirect patient care as delivered to all patients in the Cath Lab.

+ You will collect, interpret and apply objective and subjective data from observations, examinations, and interviews to direct nursing care services

+ In collaboration with other members of the management team, you will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in unit.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Required RN- Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state of Utah in good standing. Or, a current RCIS or current RT.

+ Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

+ Prefer minimum of five (5) years experience in a Respiratory or Cardiopulmonary setting of an acute hospital.

+ Preferred leadership and management experience.

+ American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
