The Production Manager will be an integral part of the Creative Services team providing expertise in all phases of video production. Reporting to the Director, Creative Strategy, the Production Manager will collaborate with the Creative Services video team and vendors to oversee and manage production of all video assets, including determining and implanting efficient production strategies, setting and managing timelines, overseeing schedules in all phases of production, gaining and tracking approvals, overseeing media asset management, delivering and storage of final assets, defining and overseeing production workflows, creating and managing production platform best practices (IPV Curator, OpenReel, Workfront, etc.) and more duties as assigned

What you will do in this role:

+ Defining and implementing efficient production strategies

+ Evaluating and managing team capacity

+ Setting and managing production timelines

+ Overseeing staff and vendor schedules in all phases of production

+ Gaining and tracking approvals

+ Overseeing media asset management

+ Delivering, organizing and storing final assets

+ Defining, implementing and overseeing efficient production workflows

+ Invoicing and contracting

+ Ensuring technical and brand requirements are effectively applied

+ Creating and managing production platform best practices (IPV Curator, OpenReel, Workfront, Media Connect etc.)

+ Additionally, they will work with the video strategy team to ensure the defined creative direction is effectively implemented and executed across all assets.

What qualifications you will need:

+ Bachelor’s degree in video production, film, marketing or similar, or work equivalency.

+ Minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, creative studio, production company, in-house marketing team or similar entities.

+ Extensive experience managing staff of creative production professionals, such as videographers, photographers, graphic designers, production artists, producers, editors, asset specialists, etc.

+ Extensive history of overseeing and managing photo, video and design projects, such as consumer campaigns, long and short form digital assets, print, motion graphics, field and studio productions, internal and external communications, digital/social content and more.

+ Experience managing creative vendors and freelancers for video, photo and design productions.

+ Knowledge of video production tools such as Adobe Premiere, Audition, Media Encoder, etc.

+ Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.

+ Experience in leading and guiding video and graphic design processes.

+ Experience with and proficiency in digital and media asset management platforms, such as Brandfolder, Censhare, Frame I/O, IPV Curator, Dropbox, Wipster, etc.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, as well as project management applications such as Workfront, Slack, etc.
