    Description

Do you dream of driving the technical standards that shape the world's leading cloud infrastructure? Are you passionate about creating order from complexity and enabling global teams to work in harmony? Have you ever wondered what it's like to influence infrastructure development on a massive scale? YES! Then keep reading....

In this role, you will serve as the cornerstone of our Basis of Design (BOD) program, influencing how we document and manage technical standards across our global fleet of data centers. You'll work with internal and external teams to define, review, and release critical documentation that guides our infrastructure development. As an owner, you'll ensure our technical standards evolve to meet emerging needs while maintaining consistency across our rapidly growing infrastructure footprint.

Primary responsibilities include managing the end-to-end BOD release cycle, coordinating cross-functional reviews, and developing scalable processes for document management. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to capture design improvements and ensure technical requirements are clearly documented. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the quality and accessibility of our technical standards.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
