    Robert Half Finance and Accounting is looking for a SOX Manager/Sr Manager to lead and manage critical Sarbanes-Oxley compliance initiatives within our client's rapidly growing Medical Technolgy organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in developing internal control frameworks, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement in compliance processes.     Responsibilities:

    • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive first-year SOX 404(b) compliance program, including risk assessment, scoping, and project planning.

    • Design, document, and maintain internal control policies and procedures aligned with SOX standards.

    • Collaborate with various departments to create scalable processes that address financial reporting risks effectively.

    • Coordinate and execute control testing to ensure compliance, identify deficiencies, and manage remediation efforts.

    • Act as the primary contact for external auditors during SOX testing, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.

    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and the audit committee on compliance progress and findings.

    • Continuously review and enhance internal processes to support SOX compliance and adapt to organizational growth.

    • Provide training and guidance to process owners to ensure understanding of SOX requirements and adherence to established internal controls.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA, CIA, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or similar roles within publicly traded companies.

    • Strong knowledge of SOX 404(b) requirements, COSO framework, and financial reporting processes.

    • Familiarity with internal audit software and financial systems; experience with NetSuite, FloQast, and AI tools is advantageous.

    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose improvements to control designs.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across teams.

    • Self-motivated problem solver with a proactive approach to driving compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment.
