The SkyMiles Program
is a key foundation for the multi-billion-dollar Delta SkyMiles American
Express Card portfolio, one of the fastest growing, highest margin businesses
within Delta. The team is driving
consistent double-digit portfolio growth, anchored by our record-breaking card
acquisition, with more than a million customers choosing to take out a Delta
co-brand card each year.
Senior Account Executive, Direct Marketing will help us continue
above-industry growth and 1M+ customer sign-ups per year.
The successful candidate will possess the following
characteristics: 1) a strategic thinker
who is able to resolve hurdles and collaborate in a cross-functional, dynamic
and fast paced environment 2) Organized and detail oriented with a track record
of successful project management 3) Understands the importance of data and
reporting, tracking results in real time and optimizing from them.
The Senior Account Executive, Co-Brand Acquisitions Direct Marketing will
be responsible for Direct Marketing channel management for Delta’s U.S.-based
Co-Branded Credit Card portfolio in partnership with American Express, with a
goal of growing new customer acquisition via Direct channels such as Direct
Mail, targeted web pages & email.
Responsibilities:
+ Partner with American Express, agencies and Delta Marketing teams to leadthe implementation, measurement and optimization of direct mail and targetedlanding page channels
+ Collaborate with internal and external teams and successfully plan and deliveron large scale/high priority campaigns on time and within budget
+ Utilize strong analytical skills to assess performance by extracting andevaluating complex data and turning it into concise and actionablerecommendations
+ Leadbriefing and creative development of campaigns and manage agency partner
+ Responsiblefor day-to-day channel management, including campaigntiming, project managing assets, monitoring performance and productprofitability
+ Influence channel marketingstrategy in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders
+ Communicatewith senior leadership, both inside and outside of the organization, aboutmarketing initiatives and channel performance
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Minimum of 3 years related work experience
+ Experience in developing marketing channel strategies, project plans and executing them within budget, on time, and to positive results
+ Ability to balance tactical project management with strategic thinking/approach
+ Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams
+ Must be results-oriented, proactive, highly organized and have strong attention-to-detail
+ Must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
+ Position requires 4 days in office per week
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
+ Experience leading and project managing cross-divisional projects is strongly preferred
+ Experience developing creative assets on either the agency or client side is highly preferred
+ Direct marketing and/or digital (direct mail, email, landing page creative development, digital banners etc.) channel experience is preferred
