Description We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will provide technical support to end-users while ensuring high-quality customer service and efficient resolution of issues. This is a Contract-to-permanent position within the insurance industry, offering an opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve technical support requests from end-users via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues in a Microsoft-based environment.
• Provide guidance and support for Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory and configuration management.
• Assist with virtualization tasks and support remote users in accessing systems and applications.
• Maintain and update documentation for common technical issues and resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to address complex technical challenges.
• Deploy and configure computer hardware and software for new setups or replacements.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate communication with users.
• Manage service desk tickets, ensuring all issues are properly logged and resolved.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and certifications, such as A+, to enhance skills and performance. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and basic help desk support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory and configuration management.
• Familiarity with virtualization tools and remote user support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ability to manage service desk tickets and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service.
• A+ certification is preferred or willingness to obtain it within the first year.
