    Respected OC Firm Seeks Employment Litigation Attorney HEAVY MENTORSHIP

    About Firm & Position:

    A well-known, community-rooted mid-sized law firm in Orange County is seeking an employment litigation attorney to join its labor & employment group. Known for its low turnover, high-end clients, and commitment to attorney development, the firm has a proven track record of training and promoting within.

    Employment Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

    + Represent employer clients in employment-related disputes, including wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and discrimination claims

    + Handle litigation matters from pre-litigation through resolution (discovery, motion work, depositions, hearings, and trial prep)

    + Draft responses to agency complaints (EEOC, DFEH, DLSE)

    + Advise clients throughout the litigation process and help mitigate risk

    + Collaborate with partners and clients directly on legal strategy and resolution

    Hours:

    + Billable target: 120–130 hours/month

    + 100% onsite to start; remote flexibility available after ramp-up

    + Firm provides full WFH tech support setup for hybrid days

    Salary:

    $125K to $195K+ depending on experience

    Bonus structure includes:

    + Quarterly bonuses for exceeding billable targets

    + Year-end discretionary performance bonuses

    Benefits:

    + Medical: Choice of Anthem or Kaiser plans; $350/month firm contribution (often fully covers base plan for employee + dependents)

    + Dental: Fully covered by firm for employee

    + 401(k) with discretionary profit sharing

    + PTO: 10 vacation days in first year

    + Sick leave: 3 days in year one, increases to 6 days annually after Jan 1

    + Annual performance reviews

    Requirements

    + Licensed to practice in California and in good standing

    + 2+ years of experience as a litigation attorney (employment preferred, but all civil litigation considered)

    + Strong discovery and motion drafting skills

    + Experience or interest in employment defense
