    What You Will Do

     

    We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Los Angeles-based team as **Legal Administrator** . You will be reporting into the Deputy General Counsel with the following key responsibilities:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Manage social media influencer contracts and non-disclosure agreements, including drafting, modification, and correction.

    + Assist in managing contractual relationships, renewals, and filing.

    + Distributor contracts and amendments.

    + Lease contracts, inquiries, and amendments.

    + Communicate via telephone, email, and formal letters:

    + With authorized accounts regarding compliance issues (e.g. website requirements and audits).

    + With third parties regarding intellectual property and other rights, including cease and desist letters.

    + Ecommerce Compliance:

    + Review and approve authorized websites; ensure ongoing compliance with website terms.

    + Initial evaluation and continuous monitoring of authorized websites for compliance with all website requirements.

    + Monitor and support website ADA compliance.

    + Anti-Diversion:

    + Engage in order analysis, order review, and account audits as monitoring mechanisms for anti-diversion compliance.

    + Monitor popular online portals, such as eBay.com and walmart.com. Determine connections to authorized accounts and enforce agreements accordingly.

    + Coordinate purchases from unauthorized sellers. Track product. Communicate with authorized tracked accounts.

    + Ensure proper documentation to support cease and desist letters and litigation.

    + Process all invoices for the department, such as receiving, verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders and submitting for payment processing.

    + Record keeping.

    + Maintain all records and files.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Experience working in an administrative position utilizing research techniques.

     

    High school diploma required.

     

    Paralegal certification is a plus but not required.

    OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

    + Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

    + Excellent organizational and written communication skills with attention to detail

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

    + Knowledge of the skin care or cosmetic industry helpful

    + Active listener who is service oriented

    + Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, pleasant and respectful demeanor

    + Self-motivated

    **This opportunity is based at the Dermalogica global headquarters in Carson, CA,** with applicable hybrid on-site guidelines.

    **The expected hourly pay range for this position is $27 - $33 per hour.** The exact rate is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, and budget. This role is eligible for participation in our company bonus plan, rewarding personal performance and company results.
