Job Description

Clinical Nurse - Radiation Oncology Office Practice (MSK Westchester)

Exciting Opportunity at MSK:Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our team as a Clinical Nurse in Ambulatory Office Practice Services. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our MSK Commack center.

Role Overview:

+ Function in reciprocal Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.

+ Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of Radiation Oncology treatment and follow-up.

+ Provide clinical support to patients receiving radiation therapy

+ Assist with their pre and post management and care.

+ Engage in complex symptom assessment and triage of symptom related calls/inquiries

+ Perform patient assessment and offer symptom management.

+ Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

+ Participate in an individualized training/orientation program geared to providing nursing care in ambulatory setting.

Key Qualifications:

+ New York State RN license and BSN

+ 1.5 – 2 years of oncology experience required

+ Radiation Oncology patient management preferred

+ EPIC experience preferred

Pay Range$131,300- $158,400.00

+ Location: MSK Westchester 500 Westchester Avenue, West Harrison, NY 10604

+ Schedule: 4x10 flexed Monday – Friday 8AM-6PM
