    Now Hiring Security Officers in Arlington, VA! Full-time and Part-time opportunities are available. Looking for Weekend/Weekday availability.

     

    DCJS License and Driver's License are required for this position.

     

    The Security Officer is accountable for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers.

     

    + Act as a visible deterrent to crime.

    + Identify and report suspicious, dangerous, or criminal acts.

    + Perform foot patrol in outside environments.

    + Monitor CCTV.

    + Operate a two-way radio.

    + Produce and maintain different security operations reports and forms.

    + Provide guidance and directions to guests.

    + Managing entry points and responding to security breaches or alarms during day and evening operations.

     

    Successful candidates must have

     

    + Excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills

    + Two (2) years of security experience

    + Active DCJS

    + Proficient two-way radio communication skills

    + CCTV and dispatch experience

    + A high school diploma or equivalent

    + Effective written and oral communication skills

    + The ability to successfully complete a background and drug screen in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

    + The ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to walk, patrol for a complete 8-hour shift.

    + A valid U.S. Driver's License - required.

    Pay: $18.75 hourly

     

    + (Monday- Friday Shift's)

    + Shift Timing: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM

    + Shift Timing: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

    + (Weekday and Weekend Shift's)

    + Shift Timing: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    + Shift Timing: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

    + Shift Timing: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
