The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Coordinate the compliance and quality activities for the Lung Transplant Programs. Responsible for data collection, analysis, trending and displaying to support the activities of the quality programs. Facilitate quality team meetings, produce minutes and meet hospital wide quality standards for reporting. Ensure ongoing compliance and survey readiness for CMS, TJC UNOS and any other regulatory body. Work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to make necessary improvements in patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Required:
2-3 years experience in health care setting working with quality responsibilities. College graduate with business or clinical degree. Ability to do statistical analysis and work with all Microsoft office suite products.
1 year of Clinical / pulmonary

Essential Functions:
Ensure all JCAHO data is reported accurately and timely and all reports/updates provided as needed
Ensure all TIEDI forms are completed and submitted to UNOS within allocated timeframe
Ensure all monthly patient safety monitoring is completed with oppertunities identified and addressed
Ensure departments are survey ready at all times for CMS, TJC disease specific and general hospital, UNOS and other regulatory bodies
Ensure transplant programs meet all UNOS bylaws, maintain up to date info on changes and implement necessary fixes to ensure 100% compliance at all times.
Maintain accurate and meaningful meeting minutes which meet hospital QA standards
Perform necessary data abstraction and input for QA reporting
Perform routine audits on output and input charts to ensure compliance with all necessary documentation required by UNOS, CMS, TJC or other regulatory body
Provide team with data, statistical analysis and graphing of all data associated with quality improvement projects and monthly dashboard reporting
Schedule and facilitate monthly Quality Meetings, M&M meetings and performance improvement team meetings for the Lung Transplant Program, VAD Program Assist in identifying improvement opportunities.
Work collaboratively with hospital QAPI department to ensure all programs meeting hospital PI requirements
Work with clinical leadership to develop and implement clinical algorithms for patient care
Work with team to implement and track all necessary changes to ensure continued quality improvements
