    This will be a full-time position at Picatinny Arsenal, for a Production and Inventory Specialist with 5-10 years of experience.

     

    What will you be doing?

     

    This position will be a key member of DEVCOM CCDC-AC. Will provide expertise in processing maintenance work orders, procurement of repair parts, dispatching of vehicles, and GCSS-Army daily business transactions. Transactions include initiation of, updating, and closing maintenance work orders, dispatching of equipment and administrative actions for licensing and equipment training. Duties include:

     

    + Operate a variety of logistics information systems: GCSS-A, Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), FMSweb, GSA Web Applications

    + CMDP checks, identifies, and participates in corrective actions.

    + Materiel Management Support administrative actions for work order process management, reports, and corrective actions.

    + Validate equipment maintenance requirements and conducts research on repair parts procurements.

    + Conduct coordination with equipment owners for scheduled maintenance, technical inspections for turn-in of equipment, receipt of new equipment.

    + Perform dispatching and licensing administrative actions as required to maintain safe and operable equipment.

    + Global Combat Support Systems Army (GCSS-A) access, dedicated under UIC: W4MKAA (for access to DUICs). Verify that service/repairs are being conducted, GCSS-A files are being updated/maintained correctly

    + Accurately review customer DA Form 5988 (DA Form 2404) and open work order based on required service/repair

    + Notify AC customers of required repairs beyond maintenance expenditure limit (MEL)

    + Procurement and oversight of required repair parts (NSN & commercial off the shelf)

    + Close work orders w/in GCSS-A (record accurate cost & labor hour information)

    + Maintain AC required shop supplies and bulk lubricants

    + Manage and disposal of generated waste streams (e.g., oil, batteries, & tires)

    + Ensure AC is receiving services based on contractual obligations (e.g., personnel allotment is satisfied)

    + Recurring onsite visit/oversight to ensure contractual obligations are met and high level of customer satisfaction is maintained

     

    What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

    This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree preferred

    + MS Office experience, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

    + 5-10 years of administrative experience and business knowledge

    + Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship skills

    + Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team

    + Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

    + Please note that US Citizenship is required to work on a military installation.

    + Ability to obtain security clearance background investigation.

    + Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.

    + Must have a valid driver’s license.
