Lanier Technical College – (www.laniertech.edu) is conducting a search for the following part-time, non-benefits eligible, FLSA-exempt position. POSITION: ADJUNCT CULINARY ARTS INSTRUCTOR- Hall County Schools Dual Enrollment Site
REPORTS TO: Dean of Business, Public Safety and Professional Services
EFFECTIVE: Fall 2025
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general supervision, instructs and supervises students in the Culinary Arts program at the Hall campus and dual enrollment locations. Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives; Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives; Tutors students via in-person and online formats; Delivers hands-on demonstrations; Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area; Meets with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of the students; Applicant work schedule and instructional location will be coordinated through the Program Director.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university. Three (3) years of management level work experience in the food service industry. ServSafe certified .
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES :
Knowledge of vocational area of assignment
Skill in presenting subject matter
Skill in administering tests to evaluate progress
Skill in the use of computers and job related software programs
Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with adult learners
Effective oral and written communication skills
Competency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite of products
Knowledge of student information systems
This position is available at the Hall campus; day and evening classes available.
NOTE: Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions of employment that are appointed on a per-academic-term basis.

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
