Responsibilities of a Cafeteria Worker

Motivated for success and ability to take initiative in a small, busy operation

Must have previous experience in a fast-paced team environment

+ Setting up, cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing workstation

+ Prepare meals and follow established recipes

+ Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, sanitation, and procedures

+ Prepping for shift

+ Preparing orders in a timely manner

+ Cooking orders according to food health and safety standards

+ Handling multiple food orders at one time

+ Monitoring multiple orders as new orders arrive

+ Storing all food properly

+ Cook, Clean assist other cooks and staff in daily operations.

+ Work will include operating a grill, oven & fryer.

+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be on feet all day

+ Serv-Safe Certified preferred

Requirements of a Cafeteria Worker

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Some culinary training

+ Organized

+ Good communication skills
