• AI Research Intern - IT Department

    Lincoln Technical Institute (Parsippany, NJ)


    We're seeking a motivated AI Research Intern to join our IT team and help drive our organization's AI adoption strategy. This role is ideal for a student nearing graduation who wants hands-on experience applying AI technologies in a real-world educational business environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Research and evaluate AI tools and processes that could enhance our operations and student experience.

    + Develop and optimize prompts for various AI applications, with a focus on Microsoft Copilot integration.

    + Create automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

    + Collaborate with IT team members and work directly with business departments to identify opportunities for AI implementation across departments.

    + Document findings, best practices, and recommendations for AI tool adoption.

    Qualifications:

    + Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (graduation within 12 months preferred).

    + Experience with Python programming and familiarity with modern AI technologies.

    + Understanding of prompt engineering principles and AI model interactions.

    + Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly Copilot and Power Automate.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
