    Lincoln Tech invites seasoned Low Voltage professionals to share their expertise on an as-needed basis as Substitute Instructors for our Electrical and Electronic Systems program.     Lincoln has successfully transitioned experienced technicians with little or no teaching background into organized educators. We provide ongoing training and tools, which make it easy for you to step in and deliver our structured curriculum when regular instructors are unavailable.

    Responsibilities for a Substitute Low Voltage Technician Instructor:

    + Deliver engaging lectures with the help of Lincoln Tech's standardized curriculum on short notice

    + Provide practical training in low voltage systems ensuring periodic maintenance of equipment

    + Follow established lesson plans and maintain classroom continuity

    + Evaluate and communicate student performance in a timely manner

    + Adapt quickly to different class schedules and student groups as needed

    Requirements for a Substitute Low Voltage Technician Instructor:

    + The necessary academic credentials and work-related experience mandated by the company, state, accreditation, and regulatory agencies

    + Certified or licensed where required by law

    + Minimum of three years of related practical work experience in electrical systems (excluding teaching experience)

    + Experience with installation and service of electrical equipment

    + Understanding of single and 3-phase systems

    + Knowledge of electrical codes

    + Experience or knowledge of low voltage systems preferred

    + Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

    + Computer skills

    + Flexibility to work on short notice and varying schedules
